Accessibility statement
I aim to make this website accessible in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing process — feedback is always welcome.
Measures in place
- Semantic HTML structure with a clear heading hierarchy (h1–h3).
- Meaningful alternative text for content images.
- Sufficient colour contrast (at least 4.5:1 for body text).
- Full keyboard operability of all interactive elements.
- Visible focus indicators for keyboard navigation.
- A “skip to content” link at the top of each page.
- Form fields with associated labels and clear error messages.
- Respect for “reduce motion” (prefers-reduced-motion).
- ARIA attributes for dynamic components (menus, dialogs, status messages).
- Multilingual content including a plain-language variant.
Accessibility tools
A button at the bottom left of every page offers additional settings:
- Read aloud: have the whole page or a selected passage spoken.
- Display: text size, zoom, readable font, and larger spacing.
- Contrast: high contrast plus link highlighting and underlining.
- Motion: reduce animations; optional cursor/reading aids.
Your settings are stored locally in your browser and persist on your next visit.
Known limitations
- Embedded third-party content is loaded only after your consent and may not meet all requirements.
- Some older documents/PDFs may not be fully accessible.
